Singapore Airlines turbulence tragedy: Cabin crew worker offers top tips for staying safe while flying
A former cabin crew member has offered her top tips to passengers for a safe flight following the tragedy on board a Singapore Airlines flight.
A British man died and several other passengers remain in intensive care after a Singapore Airlines flight was hit by “severe extreme turbulence” on Tuesday (21 May).
Appearing on This Morning on Wednesday (22 May), former cabin crew Charmaine gave her top tips for staying safe while flying.
She said: “The best thing to do is make sure all your luggage is securely stowed, as cabin crew tell you.
“Keep your seatbelts on loosely.
“The cabin crew are primarily there for your safety.”
