Rollercoaster riders trapped upside down on ride at Universal Studios Japan
Rollercoaster riders were horrifyingly trapped upside down on a ride at Universal Studios Japan after it broke down mid-ride.
The Flying Dinosaur ride at the Osaka theme park left guests stuck upside down at almost 150ft on Thursday, December 14 when its safety system was engaged.
Footage shows the riders stuck upside-down as panicked guests looked up at the scene.
There were 32 people on the roller coaster trapped in the air for nearly an hour. There were no reports of injuries.
Universal Studios Japan said that all those on board were rescued by staff and taken down via a set of emergency stairs.
