Rayner asks if Raab will ‘walk before he’s pushed’ as she reels off his ‘highlights’ at PMQs
Angela Rayner questioned if Dominic Raab will “walk before he’s pushed” as she accused the deputy prime minister of “spending all of his time trying to save his own job”.
The pair went head-to-head in PMQs on Wednesday 29 March in the absence of Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer, with Ms Reyner finishing her time at the dispatch box by rolling out Mr Raab’s “highlights”.
“Will he walk before he’s pushed?” she asked, finishing her attack.
The deputy PM responded by calling Ms Reyner’s accusations “bluster and political opportunism”.
