Firefighters thrown to the ground by explosion while battling Buffalo fire
Firefighters were thrown to the ground by an explosion while tackling a four-alarm fire in Buffalo, New York, on Wednesday (1 March.)
Footage from the incident in the city’s Theatre District shows two firefighters on the pavement after a sudden cloud smoke emerges from the fire area.
One firefighter is still missing while fighting the blaze, according to a city spokesperson cited by ABC News.
Approximately 40 pieces of equipment were used to fight the huge fire, which caused a partial collapse of the building.
