Nashville TV anchor reveals receptionist mother-in-law was on break at Christian school shooting

A Nashville TV anchor revealed on air that her mother-in-law, who is a receptionist at a Christian school that was subject to a shooting, stepped away to take a break as the attack took place on Monday, 27 March.

Three children and three adults were killed when a shooter opened fire at The Covenant School.

Hannah McDonald of NewsChannel 5 Nashville said that her relative "was outside of the school and she heard gunshots, she had just gotten back from her break".
