Minister would be 'surprised if there wasn't somebody taking drugs' in parliament
Policing minister Kit Malthouse has suggested he would be “surprised” if there weren’t some people taking illegal drugs in parliament when speaking to Kay Burley on Monday (6 December).
Malthouse’s admission comes after a report in The Sunday Times that suggested that 11 out 12 locations tested in parliament found traces of illegal drug cocaine.
The minister told Sky News: “There are obviously several thousand people who work on the estate and I would be surprised if there weren’t some lifestyle users of drugs amongst them.”
