Miami building collapse: Damage to beds and clothing visible in destroyed apartments

The remains of destroyed bedrooms can be seen from the street following the collapse of an apartment building in Miami, Florida.

One death has been confirmed after the incident on Thursday morning, but many more are feared injured, as more than 80 rescue units search for people trapped under the rubble.

In the aftermath of the collapse, firefighters pulled a boy – who is alive and showing no obvious signs of injury - from the wreckage.

Many residents of the building are still unaccounted for as the rescue operation continues.
