Man gunned down by police after shooting at school bus in California

A man believed to have been shooting at a school bus has been gunned down by police in a parking lot in California.

Local media reports that the suspect started shooting at a vehicle in Buena Park before leading police on a dramatic chase through the streets.

He was then shot dead by officers after smashing through the gates of the school district office.

Only one student and the driver were on the bus at the time it was shot at and neither were injured in the attack.
