Leeds police attend scene amid ‘disorder’ in Rothwell
Police officers attended disorder on a street in Rothwell, Leeds, on Sunday, 22 October.
This clip shows at least two police cars on Third Avenue as a group of people watch on.
Other footage posted on social media showed an officer using pepper spray near bystanders as police attempted to move people away from the scene.
West Yorkshire Police “is aware of footage circulating on social media around some disorder on Third Avenue, Rothwell on Sunday (22/10) afternoon,” the force wrote on X/Twitter.
“A referral has been made to the Professional Standards Directorate,” they added.
