‘More work to be done’ for Labour after local election success, says Starmer

Sir Keir Starmer has said there is “more work to be done” for the Labour Party ahead of the general election.

In a speech at the Progressive Britain conference in central London this weekend, the opposition leader said his party is winning “in all four corners of England”.

The event comes after success at the local elections last week and Sir Keir was greeted with a standing ovation by the audience as he made his way onto stage.
