Kevin Sinfield ‘taking time to reflect’ after gruelling MND challenge
Kevin Sinfield has said he’ll take some time to reflect after his latest marathon in support of Motor Neurone Disease, which raised £1 million in a week (18 December).
Sinfield, 43, joined BBC Breakfast this morning after recovering from his gruelling 7 in 7 in 7 Challenge, where he ran seven ultra-marathons across Great Britain and Ireland to raise funds for MND.
The rugby league legend is inspired by longtime friend and former teammate Rob Burrow, who was diagnosed with MND in 2019.
Sinfield left the door open to more fundraising opportunities in the future, saying “My body’s alright. I think we’ll take a bit of time to reflect, but possibly another one. Possible.”
