Immigrants who see Israel as enemy ‘not welcome’ in UK, says Kemi Badenoch
Kemi Badenoch has warned that immigrants who “see Israel as an enemy” are “not welcome” in the UK.
The Tory leadership hopeful responded to backlash from her Telegraph column, which suggested those moving to Britain should be expected to uphold British traditions and values.
“Missing children’s posters being ripped down because people hate Israel. I don’t think that has any place here”, she told Sky’s Trevor Phillips.
However, she insists her comments don’t blanket the muslim immigrant population, and she’s “met many muslims who love Israel.”
