Princess Kate’s kind words to Amy Dowden following cancer diagnosis

The Princess of Wales reached out to Amy Dowden to offer her support after the Strictly Come Dancing star was diagnosed with cancer.

The professional dancer said she was touched after Princess Kate told her to “let her know if there was anything she could do to help”.

Appearing on Loose Women on Wednesday (24 April), the 33-year-old said: “I was so lucky to meet her and she was so kind.

“She said to me ‘Let us know if there is anything we can do’, so finding out she has to have chemotherapy and what she has to go through.”
