Kate Garraway receives election polling card for late husband Derek - but not herself
Kate Garraway has expressed her sadness after receiving a polling card in the post for her late husband Derek Draper - but not herself.
The Good Morning Britain host was discussing the election on this morning’s show (4 July), when she admitted hers had gone missing, and her daughter “may not have registered properly”, as she also didn’t have one.
“I haven’t had one for myself. The only polling card that’s come through the door is for Derek, sadly, who’s passed away”, she told viewers.
It means that the host and her daughter, who recently turned 18, now won’t be able to vote in the election.
