‘I’m sorry’: Boris Johnson apologises following publication of Sue Gray report
Boris Johnson has apologised to MPs following the publication of Sue Gray's report on lockdown-breaking parties in Downing Street.
In her heavily-censored findings, Ms Gray blasted “failures of leadership and judgment” in No 10 and the Cabinet Office.
The prime minister addressed the report as he made a statement in the House of Commons on Monday afrernoon.
"Firstly I want to say sorry. I am sorry for the things we simply didn’t get right and sorry for the way this matter has been handled,” Mr Johnson
