How do we transition to clean energy?
Cop26 offers an opportunity to world leaders and experts alike to collaborate on plans to transition to clean energy.
The current reliance on energy generated from fossil fuels, a non-renewable source of energy, is a major contributor to the climate crisis.
It is predicted that renewable energy, such as wind, solar and water power, will make up 30% of the electricity generated globally in 2021. That figure needs to increase significantly for the planet to achieve net zero emissions globally by 2050.
