Greece train crash wreckage removed from scene after head-on collision kills at least 38

Wreckage has been removed from the scene of a deadly train crash in Larissa, Greece.

Multiple cars derailed and at least three burst into flames in a head-on collision killed at least 38 people and injured dozens on Tuesday night (28 February).

Approximately 250 passengers have been evacuated safely to Thessaloniki on buses.

The Greek government has declared three days of national mourning in a tribute to victims of the crash.

Footage shows a crane lifting part of a train carriage away from the scene.
