George W. Bush says US faces violence threat 'from within' at Pennsylvania 9/11 memorial
Former president George W Bush condemned “malign forces” and appealed to national unity at Pennsylvania’s Flight 93 memorial.
The former president recalled the sufferance and death brought by the 9/11 terror attacks during a memorial service in Pennsylvania.
Attending the event were the families of the 40 passengers and crew members aboard the plane that caused such destruction 20 years ago.
Bush, who was president during the September 2001 attacks, said: “Twenty years ago, we all found – in different ways, in different places, but all at the same moment – that our lives would be changed forever.”
