For heaven's sake: Pope Francis stumbles as he boards plane in strong winds
Pope Francis stumbled up the steps of an aircraft as he left Greece in heavy winds, following a tour that has highlighted the plight of migrants and refugees.
The Pontiff, 85, was boarding a plane after visiting Athens and was seen losing his footing as he ascended the steps, before eventually being escorted inside.
During his trip, the leader of the Catholic Church criticised Europe’s divided response to the migration crisis, suggesting the continent is torn by “nationalist self-interest”.
