Fly-tipper standing brazenly throws bags of rubbish into countryside lane

A brazen fly-tipper was filmed on video standing in the back of a trick throwing bags of rubbish into the countryside.

The man is seen chucking out several bags of rubbish as the van drives along Darlingscote Road near Shipston-on-Stour in the Cotswolds.

A spokesperson for the Warwickshire Rural Crime Team said: “Officers located the unattended vehicle near Darlingcote shortly after.

“Using police powers of entry and seizure under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 we recovered the vehicle.

“The registered keeper of the vehicle will be contacted in due course to disclose who the driver was at the time of the offences.

“The vehicle is also at risk of being crushed if the keeper doesn’t respond.”
