Watch: 8ft alligator found on resident’s front doorstep wrestled by police

Police officers used their bare hands to grapple with an eight-foot alligator that showed up in front of a house in Florida.

Footage shared by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) shows deputies assisting Florida Fish and Wildlife officers in removing the huge gator from the front of a residence in Bonita Springs over the weekend.

“OH SNAP!” the authorities wrote, sharing the video on social media.

“Over the weekend, this 8ft swamp puppy showed up on a Bonita Springs residents doorstep. LCSO deputies gave a helping hand to our friends at Florida Fish and Wildlife who safely relocated the gator. See ya later, alligator!”
