Flame-throwing robot dog that can torch anything in its path goes on sale
A flame-throwing robotic dog invented by a company in the United States has gone on sale.
Named the “Thermonator”, the remote-controlled device is priced at $9,420 (£7,600).
It has been designed by Ohio-based firm Throwflame and is not advertised as a weapon, meaning it is legal to own.
The manufacturer suggests possible uses include wildlife control, snow and ice removal and general entertainment.
Released last year, Thermonator can shoot fire up to 30ft.
The robot can be controlled via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and has a battery life of up to one hour.
