Man punched onto train tracks after Arsenal and Tottenham game
The British Transport Police has released mobile phone footage of a football fan being punched onto a railway line following an Arsenal-Tottenham derby.
Groups of the rival clubs clashed in the evening of Sunday, January 15, at Finsbury Park railway station after the Gunners secured a 0-2 away win.
A man is seen hitting another in the side of the head by the edge of the platform as the victim stumbles onto the line.
“Had a train been pulling in at the time we could easily have been dealing with a murder investigation,” said police sergeant Ben Roberts.
