Moment suspected drink driver crashes through living room as residents sleep
Footage captures the moment a suspected drink driver crashed into a house, causing nearly £30,000 of damage, as residents were in bed upstairs.
Michael Wilson, 34, of Acacia Avenue, Wisbech, crashed through the front wall of a house on Mount Pleasant Road, Wisbech on 21 August 2021.
After the crash, Wilson ran away and later claimed his car had been stolen.
Wilson was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to dangerous driving, intending to pervert the course of justice and criminal damage.
