Drink driver fakes police attack unaware he is being filmed on officer’s bodycam
A drink driver faked being attacked by police unaware he was being filmed on an officer’s bodycam.
Footage shows Andrew Vickerman, 42, failing a roadside breath test, when pulled over by South Yorkshire Police officers in Sheffield.
Vickerman started to accuse them of violence, alleging that he had been punched in the face and kicked in his genitals.
Body-worn video recording his arrest and time with officers showed how Vickerman ask officers ‘do you have a camera?’ before throwing himself on the floor, making false allegations and swearing.
Vickerman, from Newcastle, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on 28 February and was disqualified from driving for 18 months
