Captain Sir Tom Moore’s family leave appeal hearing over demolition of spa pool block at home
Captain Sir Tom Moore’s daughter and her family attended an appeal hearing against the demolition of a spa pool block at her home in Bedfordshire on Tuesday, 17 October.
In 2021, Hannah Ingram-Moore and her husband Colin applied for permission to build a Captain Tom Foundation Building in the grounds of their property in Marston Moretaine.
An L-shaped building was approved but a subsequent retrospective application in 2022 for a larger C-shaped building containing a spa pool was refused.
Chartered surveyor James Paynter, for the appellants, said: “The spa pool has the opportunity to offer rehabilitation sessions for elderly people in the area.”
