Mick Lynch labels Jeremy Hunt’s policies ‘a Budget for the rich’

Mick Lynch has labelled Jeremy Hunt’s announcement as “a Budget for the rich”.

The RMT boss suggested there is “nothing that we can recognise for the railways” in the chancellor’s plans and “no move from the government to solve” on going pay disputes that have led to strikes across the UK.

“It seems to be a Budget for the rich,” Mr Lynch said.

“There will be a continuous transfer of wealth from working people because the tax thresholds for ordinary workers have not gone up.”
