Boris Johnson stands around awkwardly as Emmanuel Macron shakes hands with Nato leaders

Boris Johnson was caught on camera standing around awkwardly as Emmanuel Macron shook hands with other Nato leaders.

The pair were positioned at the front of a "family photo" taken as the organisation met to discuss the war in Ukraine.

While Mr Johnson can be seen shaking hands with Mr Macron when he arrives, the prime minister then mills around as the French president continues his greetings.

Joe Biden, the US president, later arrives to stand next to Mr Johnson for the photo.
