Moment plane crashes onto busy New Hampshire beach with no injuries reported

A small plane crashed onto a busy New Hampshire beach on 29 July 2023 with no injuries being reported.

Emergency services said the plane crash-landed about 25-to-30 metres offshore with lifeguards rescuing the pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft.

The plane was a small single-engined vehicle which was carrying a banner behind as it flew.

It is not currently known what caused the incident though the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) was investigating.

The plane crashed at around noon, a busy time with many beachgoers out in the sun, and has since been pulled ashore.
