$3,000-a-month New York City apartment with ‘kitchen shower’ horrifies TikTokers

A studio apartment in New York City available to rent for $3,495 (£2,736) complete with a shower in its kitchen has gone viral after its bizarre layout baffled TikTok users.

David Okocha posted footage on his account of the home in Manhattan's Nolita neighbourhood, where a renter would be able to step out of the "bathroom" straight to the fridge.

To make matters worse, the shower is surrounded by unfinished tiles and located just steps from the front door.

"Is this the worst layout you've ever seen?" Okocha said.
