Eagle-eyed royal fans have been quick to notice that young Prince Louis was absent from half of King Charles III's coronation ceremony - but was there during the start and end.

The five-year-old had always planned to 'retire' during the service, as he struggled to sit still during the service and kept chatting to his sister, Princess Charlotte, no doubt due to his age.

During other royal events, the youngster has been the centre-of-attention, pulling funny faces and breaking protocol with his cheeky nature.
