Pregnant college student attends graduation ceremony while in labour
A 38-weeks pregnant student accepted her college degree at her graduation ceremony while in labour.
Kelsie Hudie, from Michigan, received her diploma from Henry Ford College in Dearborn.
She was called to the stage first by college president Russell Kavalhuna after the institution’s officials learned of her near-delivery condition.
Hudie later gave birth to her first child, a daughter she named Nylah, on 9 May.
Footage shows Hudie walking on stage heavily pregnant to raptuous applause.
