Nursing home mocked after naming itself ‘Skeleton Court’ in bus stop advert blunder
A nursing home was mocked on social media after naming itself “Skeleton Court” in bus stop advert blunder.
Bosses of Skelton Court, a facility for those aged over 65, have apologised for failing to spot the unfortunate typo that was included on a promotional poster.
Skelton Court is located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, close to Middlesbrough.
The care home’s mistake didn’t go unnoticed and was soon shared across social media.
“Bold choice of name considering the age of many residents,” one Twitter user said.
“We’re really sorry for the error in the ad,” a statement from Skelton Court read.
“We’re getting it removed and looking into how it happened.”
