Practical reason Michaela Strachan only showers ‘every three days’

Michaela Strachan has revealed the reason she doesn’t shower often since moving out to South Africa in 2002.

“I’m not fastidious about washing hands and things, I think we’re way too clean all of us”, the Springwatch host told the Loose Women.

“I went through a country with major, major droughts, and we so we learnt to only have a shower every three days.”

However, her hygiene tactics have come back to haunt her in the past, when a word crawled under a skin after she didn’t wash her hands.
