‘Polyamory is misconstrued as sex-fest,’ says Maya Oppenheim at How The Light Gets In festival
How you choose to organise your love life can often solicit highly polarised responses from outsiders.
This is probably one reason why How The Lights Get In, the world’s largest music and philosophy festival, chose to hold a debate on the pros and cons of monogamy and polyamory.
“No I don’t think monogamy should have the moral high ground,” I told the audience at the festival’s most recent event in May.
The next How The Light Gets In festival will take place at Kenwood Gardens in Hampstead Heath from 23-24 September.
