EastEnders icon Martine McCutcheon helps nervous motorists keep calm while driving
Martine McCutcheon has been helping new older motorists who feel anxious driving by sharing her own struggles with nerves behind the wheel despite passing her test almost 30 years ago.
The actress described how she has to pass her test “very quickly” for work, when she realised she’d landed the part of Tiffany in EastEnders and had to drive on the motorway.
It comes as research by Churchill found that 50 per cent of adults who passed their test over the age of 30 feel nervous when driving and they feel the pressure even more than younger motorists.
