Royal fans brave 5am start in New York to watch King Charles’s coronation

New York residents and visitors braved a very early start to witness the coronation of King Charles III in London.

Dozens of royal fans gathered from 5:30am at The Churchill Tavern, a British-themed bar in the city, to watch the historic ceremony.

As the King was crowned, the stateside superfans cheered and raised glasses to the new monarch, whilst tucking into a menu complete with scones, tea and sausage rolls.
