Jessica Alba surprises father by renovating his childhood home in new home video

Jessica Alba brought her father to tears as she surprised him by buying his childhood home for him.

The actor, 43, shared a video on her YouTube channel on 30 August of a "special renovation" with her Honest Reservations co-host Lizzy Mathis.

"After my grandfather passed away, my parents were planning on selling the house to pay for my grandmother’s medical bills," Alba explained in the video description.

"I pretended like I was going to help them flip it before selling when in reality, I had planned to buy it for them all along."

Her parents, Mark and Catherine, became visibly emotional as Alba revealed what she'd been up to.
