Ed Balls asks Andi Peters if he has had a spray tan during live Good Morning Britain segment

Ed Balls asked Andi Peters if he has had a spray tan on Tuesday’s (11 July) episode of Good Morning Britain.

The former MP joined Susanna Reid on the breakfast show to discuss whether people who wear fake tan should pay extra on their hotel bills for cleaning with guests Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire.

As the show introduced its competition segment, it cut to Mr Peters, before Mr Balls asked: “Spray tan, Andi?”

“I didn’t want to exclude him,” the presenter, 56, continued.

Seemingly taken aback by the question, Mr Peters replied: “What do you think, Ed?”
