Eight-year-old creates classroom that can fit inside a box
A girl from Texas is already well on her way to changing the world at the tender age of eight by creating pop-up classrooms that can be used by anyone who doesn’t have access to a more conventional school system.
Paisley Elliot, 8, got the inspiration for her pop-up classrooms when a school she helped build at the Moria refugee camp was destroyed in the fire of 2018.
The prototype Shine boxes are to be tested in Uganda this year, and should help less privileged students get access to education.
