Dog rescued from 30-foot deep cave after incredible two-week ordeal
A dog nicknamed ‘Dewey’ has been rescued from the bottom of a 30-foot cave in fortuitous circumstances after going missing from his owners some two weeks previously.
The group who rescued the pup were a bunch of experienced cavers who just so happened to be in the area looking for the best spot for one of their members to propose to his partner.
‘Dewey’, whose real name is actually Hawkeye, was then reunited with his owners a couple of days later after the group posted about the dog they’d rescued on social media over Labor Day weekend.
