Former England goalkeeper David James admits he puts boiling water on his cereal
David James has revealed the unconventional way he eats his cereal to “save the environment.”
The former England goalkeeper told BBC Radio 5 Live that he uses hot water instead of milk to reduce his environmental impact.
“Methane is a greenhouse gas. Soya milk obviously leads to deforestation. Boiling water is kind of just boiling water isn’t it, I mean it’s good for the environment,” James explained.
After giving the combination a taste test, presenter Rick Edwards concluded it was “not awful.”
“I’d prefer it with milk, but it is fine,” he added.
