Claudia Winkleman described the coronation as "Tory Christmas" during an appearance on BBC Radio 2.

The presenter was speaking to Jack Whitehall, who revealed that his mother had been camping out at the Mall in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the King and Queen during the coronation procession.

"She’s prepared for it, she had her tupperware with sandwiches, she had a she-wee...the Coronation is like Tory Glastonbury, it’s a huge event," the comedian said.
