Why did the chicken cross the rails? Hen causes chaos in Mexico

A chicken caused chaos on subway tracks in Mexico as staff attempted to coax it away from the rails.

Footage shows staff at Centro Medico station in Mexico City making several attempts to catch the hen, before finally apprehending it using a piece of clothing and lifting it to safety.

“Remember to protect your belongings as well as use a transporter to transport pets and avoid incidents,” Mexico City Metro representatives tweeted.
