Shirley Ballas has completed a “terrifying” skydive in a bid to raise awareness and money for a suicide prevention charity.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge jumped out of a plane more than 13,000ft over Sibson Airfield in Peterborough, one of the oldest drop zones in the country.
It marked the final part of her week-long Skyathlon challenge, in support of the Campaign Against Living Miserably (Calm).
Ballas, who had “for David” written on her hands in memory of her brother, said the skydive was the most “terrifying” and “exhilarating” thing she’s ever done.
