Kitten trapped inside truck frame rescued after driver ‘heard meowing’ while stuck in traffic

A kitten was rescued from the base frame of a truck after the driver “heard meowing” while stuck in traffic in California.

The tiny feline was heard whining after somehow managing to get its head stuck in a hole in the chassis.

Volunteers from the San Diego Humane Society freed the kitten, whose jaw was trapped in the vehicle’s frame, by sedating her and working with cotton swabs to dislodge her head.

“We are so pleased that this kitten came out safe and sound. Remarkably, she is doing very well,” the rescue centre said.
