Terrified diners flee boa constrictor seen in restaurant ceiling in Brazil
A boa constrictor was pulled from the ceiling of a restaurant in Brazil as it tried to bite a police officer in terrifying footage.
Diners fled when the snake was spotted wrapped around wooden rafters at the premises in Bahai State on 11 October.
Three officers tried to get the reptile out of the ceiling.
Diners screamed as an officer let go of the snake's head and it darted towards him in an attempt to bite, but he narrowly avoided disaster.
Officers eventually carried the snake away to applause.
Police later said the snake was in good health and was checked over before being released into the wild.
