Adorable labrador jumps into pool in California for heatwave relief

An adorable labrador beat the Californian heat this week by diving into a backyard pool before splashing around in the water with another pup.

The clip, shared on social media, was captioned: “For anyone in a heat dome and heatwave... hope this video gives you cool vibes.”

Temperatures across the state have soared in recent weeks, with California declaring a state of emergency earlier this month.

Highs of 54C were recorded at Death Valley National Park last Thursday as residents were told to stay in air-conditioned areas and out of the sun.
