Busy Philipps reveals how daughter helped her with mid-life ADHD diagnosis

Busy Philipps has explained how her daughter’s ADHD assessment helped with her own diagnosis.

The actor, 44, received a diagnosis after she took her now 15-year-old daughter, Birdie, to an evaluation.

“Everything the doctor was asking Birdie and talking about, I was like, ‘But that’s me. That’s what I have,’” Philipps told US Weekly.

She also said she felt like “there was something wrong” with her before she received her diagnosis, which she admitted has “changed” her life.

“It’s no coincidence really that these last several years of my career have been the best and most productive,” Philipps added.
