Strictly star returns to training amid show scandal
Strictly professional Aljaž Škorjanec has returned to training following a two-year hiatus from the show.
Škorjanec, who won the show with celebrity partner Abbey Clancy in 2013 and came runner-up with Gemma Atkinson in 2017, posted a video of his return to the ballroom on Instagram on Monday (23 July).
Škorjanec’s return comes as the BBC series finds itself embroiled in a scandal over the conduct of its professional dancers.
Škorjanec is not at the centre of the allegations.
Earlier this month, Graziano Di Prima was dropped from the series for mistreating Zara McDermott in the rehearsal room, while other former contestants, including Paralympian Will Bayley, have spoken out about their respective negative experiences.
